Bird Dog Days at Weatherby’s

Join us for a weekend of bird dogs and training tips and tricks with veteran trainer, trialer and trial judge Patrick Keliher. Whether your interest lies in field trials, working tests, picking up or working in the shooting field, Pat’s friendly supportive and constructive approach will help you build a successful partnership with your gundog. If you are starting your gundog journey with a retriever, spaniel or HPR, or want to improve your current success/training, Pat is able to offer guidance and structured training to suit all levels of ability and all breeds of dog. Novice handlers welcome and encouraged.
The weekend includes three nights lodging and meals, with private cabin and complimentary single malts and cigars.
See the upland hunt gear list for items to pack for you and for your bird dog. Although early for our fall salmon run, plan extra days for some first rate smallmouth bass fishing on our lakes or St. Croix River.
