The number one non-typical white-tailed ever killed in the state of Maine came from Grand Lake Stream in 1910, known as the Hill Gould Buck, scoring 259 B&C with 59 points.

The state of Maine has long been regarded as the best hunting destination for big-bodied, big-racked white-tails in the Northeast. If you want to a buck with a field-dressed weight of 200 pounds and gross Boone and Crockett score of 200 or more, Washington County and Weatherby’s is your best bet.  More Boone and Crockett bucks have come from Maine than any other state in New England ensuring Maine's reputation for big-racked, big-bodied bucks.

Our hunting lands encompass more than half a million acres of commercial timberland with open, unfettered access.  Many of our guided hunts will take you into smaller private ownerships that include blue berry fields, apple orchards and abandoned farms.

We hunt with one or two hunters per guide, although guides are not required.

Non-Guided Hunts: $845 per hunter, double occupancy per week ($1,000 single)

Guided Hunts: $1475 per hunter, double occupancy, per week $2200 single

Pricing includes seven nights in a private heated cabin with electricity and hot water, three meals, and daily house keeping.  Guided hunts include one guide per one or two hunters, tree stands, and transportation.  Hunting packages run Sunday through Sunday.  Pricing for fewer than seven nights is billed at the daily rate of $145 per night/person.
